Our Rector Prof. Dr. Suleyman Ozdemir's Message for the Commemoration Day of Ataturk on November 10

We commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, on the 82nd anniversary of his passing to eternity.

Atatürk is a heroic soldier, a great statesman, and a brave and far-sighted leader who believes that the source of all success is the nation itself. His leadership quality has been an example not only for the Turkish nation but also for other countries and has been accepted and appreciated all over the world. Atatürk, who trusts his nation infinitely, succeeds on the difficult path he set out with this trust and belief and crowned our struggle for independence with the foundation of the Republic, entrusted the Republic to the Turkish Nation, especially to the Turkish youth.

We must be worthy of his trust, with this awareness, we must proceed on the path he opened and carry forward the trust he left behind. With these feelings and thoughts, we remember with mercy and gratitude, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades in arms, and all our martyrs. May their souls be blessed.
