2026-2027 Academic Year Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II Course Exemption Exam Applications

 

An exemption exam will be held for students who have newly registered to our university in the 2026-2027 Academic Year and wish to be exempt from the Atatürk Principles and History of Revolution I-II courses included in their course plans.

Exemption Exam Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2026
Exam Time: 14.00
Application Dates: 7-15 September 2026
Deadline: 15 September 2026 at 17.00

Application

Students who want to take the exemption exam must fill out the online application form below completely within the specified dates.

The application form will be opened for applications on 7 September 2026 and will be closed at 17.00 on 15 September 2026. Applications made after the specified date and time will not be accepted.

The name, surname, student number, department/program and faculty/vocational school information in the application form must be filled in accurately and completely. Applications submitted with incomplete or incorrect information will be deemed invalid.

Exam and Evaluation Principles

Participation in the exemption exam is not mandatory. Only students who have been placed in our university in the 2026-2027 Academic Year can participate in the exam, provided that they complete their applications within the deadline and in full.

The exam will be evaluated over 100 points.

Students who get 60 or more points from the exam will be exempt from Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II courses. The scores students receive from the exam will be processed as the success grade of the relevant courses and will be included in the graduation grade average.

Students who score below 60 points will not be entitled to exemption and will be obliged to take the relevant courses. It will happen.

Exemption procedures are carried out by Student Affairs, and students must contact the relevant Student Affairs unit for procedures regarding exam results and exemption status.

Exam Scope

The exemption exam will include questions from the subjects of Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II courses covering the fall and spring semesters. The main subjects within the scope of the exam are:

The last period of the Ottoman Empire and its collapse process, World War I and its consequences, Armistice of Mudros and occupations, National War. It includes the preparation process of the struggle, congresses and the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the War of Independence and the fronts, and the political, social, economic and legal developments after the Treaty of Lausanne and the proclamation of the Republic.
