History Department Orientation Program was Held

The Orientation Program organized by our Department of History for newly registered students in the 2026–2027 academic year was held on 22–23 September 2026.

On the first day of the program, at the orientation presentation and introduction meeting held in classroom number MF-Z-08, students were informed about the academic structure of the department, the educational process, course registrations, academic consultancy services and issues related to student life. Students had the opportunity to meet the faculty members of the department and ask questions they were curious about.

As part of the first day program, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Youth Office Information Presentation was also held. In the presentation, the projects, volunteering, personal development, social and cultural activities and opportunities for participation in national and international programs offered by the Young Office to students were introduced.

On the second day of the program, Prof. Dr. A Library and Research Orientation was held at Sabahattin Zaim Library. Library services, electronic databases, catalog scanning methods, access to research resources and borrowing procedures were explained to the students in a practical manner.

The two-day program helped our new students get to know the opportunities offered by the department and the university.
