"2nd International Congress on Academic Studies in Philology-BICOASP" Organized by our University Has Started

the "2nd International Congress on Academic Studies in Philology - BICOASP", organized by the Trakya University Association (TÜB),  and hosted by the Department of Translation and Interpretation of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, has started on the CISCO-Webex online platform between 2 and 5 September 2020. 

In the congress, which started on Wednesday, September 2 at 10:00, the President of the Organization Committee of the congress Assoc. Dr. Mesut Kuleli, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Celalettin Yanık, President of the Turkish Language Association Prof. Dr. Gürer Gülsevin and Full Member of Turkish Language Association Prof. Dr. Leyla Karahan made their opening speech.

Academic staff of our University, Research Assistant Ali Fuat Altuntaş, Instructor M. Salih Kapcı, Assistant Professor Doctor Caner Çetiner, all Organizing Committee members, Congress Scientific Committee members, departments of our University, the stakeholder institution Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Foundation, our Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Özdemir, the rectors of TÜB member universities and the secretariat of TÜB, as well as the participants for their intense interest in our congress, were thanked. Yıldız Technical University, Head of the Department of Western Languages ​​and Literature, Prof. Dr. Sündüz Öztürk Kasar, from the Department of French Language and Literature at Sofia University, Prof. Dr. Irena Krısteva, Professor of Philosophy and Language Theory at Bari Aldo Moro University. Dr. Susan Petrilli and Prof. Dr. Augusto Ponzıo, Professor of English Language Teaching, Uludağ University. Dr. Amanda Yeşilbursa, Professor of German Literature at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Dr. Stefan Neuhaus and Ventspils University of Applied Sciences Faculty of Translation  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Guntars Dreıjers were the main speakers of the congress. 231 papers from 16 countries and 99 different universities will be presented at the congress.
