Dean of our Faculty Dr. Zekai Mete's Book "Wars in the Red Crescent Archive Documents (Tripolitanian War - The Balkan Wars - National Struggle)" was Published

Dean of our Faculty Dr. Zekai Mete's new book has been published. Within the scope of the Red Crescent Archive Catalog publication series, which is planned to consist of a total of four books, Dr. Zekai Mete contributed to the academic community thanks to the third book of the planned series after the two books published before with the names of “Prisoners of War in the Red Crescent Archive Documents” and “The First World War in the Red Crescent Archive Documents”.

The book was published by the dean of our faculty Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete, Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik, Prof. Dr. Recep Karacakaya, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Genç ve Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Bal from Medeniyet University. The book contains Ottoman originals and Turkish transcripts, Turkish, English and Arabic summaries of some sample documents including the activities carried out by the Red Crescent during the Tripoli War, the Balkan Wars and the War of Independence, selected with a meticulous study from the hundreds of thousands of documents in the institutional archive of the Red Crescent established in 1868.

Due to the book that attracted great attention in the academic environment and which we believe will contribute greatly to the promotion of the Red Crescent Archives, we deeply congratulate our Dean Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete and other academics attributed the book.
