The Dean of our Faculty, Faculty Members of the Department of History and the Head of the Library and Documentation Department of our University Visited Şahinburgaz Village for Cultural Studies.

Within the scope of the activities of the History, Culture and Art Studies Application and Research Center, Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete and History Department faculty members Assoc. Dr. Kurtuluş Demirkol, Dr. Cengiz Şeker, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Sarıkaya, and Head of Library and Documentation Department of our University, Barış Yıldırım, visited Şahinburgaz village of Erdek to make examinations.

Our university delegation met with Civil Engineer Tunç Ali Özdemir, Village Headman Kadir Uğur and Village Imam Nurullah Çetinkaya, who hosted them, and gave information about the history, culture and handicrafts of the village. In addition, during the meeting, approximately 500 books written in Hungarian were donated by Tunç Ali Özdemir to our university library.
